Access to clean drinking water is a challenge for many rural Peruvian communities. That is why we have contributed by providing a water system for the for our neighbors like the Native Community Unida Ecológica Kokamas near our Plantation.
A similar system was implemented in the village of Bajo Rayal, where an elevated tank system and well were improved to ensure the town had access to clean water.
Our most recent contribution to was in July 2024, when we improved the well in the native community of Santa Clara de Uchunya as part of their 53rd-anniversary celebrations. This effort was reinforced by the Nueva Requena District Municipality, which cleaned the community’s water pipes.
Once again, the coordinated efforts between authorities, local communities, and private companies have resulted in improved quality of life for underserved rural communities.
