The excitement of the IV Ocho Sur Cup 2025, the most anticipated Intercommunity Men’s and Women’s Soccer Championship in Ucayali, continues every weekend with thrilling matches featuring players from native communities, rural settlements, and villages in the districts of Nueva Requena and Curimaná.
Organized annually by the Ocho Sur Group, a leading Peruvian agribusiness dedicated to the sustainable production of palm oil and its derivatives in Ucayali, this championship forms part of the company’s commitment to social responsibility, community relations, and the promotion of sports and healthy lifestyles in the Amazon region.
With 27 teams (15 men’s and 12 women’s) representing 16 Amazonian communities, the tournament has become a regional celebration of friendship, teamwork, and unity. For this reason, the IV Ocho Sur Cup 2025 is fondly known as “The Cup that Unites Communities.”
