We are convinced that high-productivity agriculture must coexist with environmental conservation and positively impact the lives of thousands of people, providing formal and inclusive economic alternatives. This is the best way to fight against the accelerated loss of forests driven mainly by the informality of the agricultural sector and illicit activities.
In that same sense, we have also prioritized cooperation with our neighbors, without any conditions, on issues of great importance such as health, education, sanitation, communications and sports. We have always respected their customs, their opinions and their autonomous decisions. That is the basis of the atmosphere of cordiality that we have achieved with all our neighbors, including the native communities.
We do not understand how some self-proclaimed defenders of the rights of these communities attack us and oppose our company supporting many communities so that they can overcome such serious problems, such as the COVID 19 pandemic, or that they receive vaccination against some diseases or that they have medical posts or drinking water wells and schools for their children, or roads that allow them to avoid their isolation; as well as enjoying the sport that does so much good for the training of young people who develop values, leadership and camaraderie with this type of events in which they participate.
Nothing is further from reality and the truth than the attacks we have been receiving regarding deforestation, land usurpation, violation of human rights or interference in the decisions of our neighbors. It is quite the opposite and, therefore, our group confirms its decision to continue supporting the region and sports so that we have better opportunities and that our young people from the Amazon achieve their dreams.
If any group feels affected by our presence, our doors will always be open to dialogue and find points of agreement that allow us to advance in the objectives that we have set and that we are sure we share. We therefore reject the devious attacks and smear campaigns that only seek to harm people and confront us between good neighbors and brothers.
We are committed to achieving the sustainable development of the Amazon, through the regeneration of the Amazon landscape, making it productive without losing the wonderful nature of its ecosystem. That is why we are carrying out an action plan that includes reforestation, biological corridors, organic agriculture and biological pest control, protection of water sources and conservation areas, as well as the use of clean technologies or generation of circular economy in our processes. productive.
