The excitement continues! The Intercommunity Men’s and Women’s Soccer Championship – IV Ocho Sur Cup 2025 reaches its Semifinal stage this Sunday, September 7, starting at 8:00 a.m. at the Nueva Requena Stadium. Eight teams (four women’s and four men’s) will compete for a spot in the long-awaited Grand Final that will define this year’s champions.
Since its kickoff on June 1, this popular Amazonian community tournament has brought together 27 teams—12 women’s teams and 15 men’s teams—representing 16 rural communities, including native communities, villages, and rural settlements from the districts of Nueva Requena and Curimaná.
Organized by Ocho Sur Group, a leading agribusiness company dedicated to the sustainable production of palm oil and its derivatives in Ucayali, Peru, this championship forms part of the company’s commitment to social responsibility, community development, and the promotion of healthy lifestyles through sport.

The winning teams will advance to the Grand Final of the IV Ocho Sur Cup 2025, where they will compete for the championship title in their respective categories.
