The Ocho Sur Business Group, dedicated to the sustainable production of palm products and derivatives in Ucayali, was honored by the Regional Health Directorate (Diresa) of Ucayali, for its appreciated support in the joint work in the fight against Covid-19. 19, in the native communities of Nueva Requena.
This was announced by the regional director of Diresa, Juan Carlos Salas Suárez, who highlighted the strategic alliance formed with the aforementioned palm oil company, to carry out comprehensive health campaigns, for the benefit of the community members of the aforementioned district.
“The joint work is in full development and is not over yet. We take this pause to express our appreciation for your outstanding cooperation,” said the regional director of Health of Ucayali.
Then, Salas Suárez proceeded to deliver a Diploma of Recognition to Grupo Ocho Sur, “for its valuable collaboration with the Diresa, in the control of the Covid-19 pandemic in the native communities of the Nueva Requena district; as well as, in the comprehensive evaluation and protection of the health of the company’s employees.”
The diploma was received by the general manager of the business group, Michael Spoor, who thanked the distinction and pointed out that, since the beginning of its operations in 2016, the company’s purpose is to contribute to improving the quality of life of the residents of its 23 neighboring communities.
The senior official highlighted that, within the framework of its social responsibility policy, the palm oil company has thus joined the Regional Government of Ucayali, to contribute to the tough battle against Covid-19.
Likewise, Michael Spoor thanked Diresa for the recognition of the good management that Ocho Sur has been providing to its workers, in the attention carried out in the process against Covid-19, with all the biosecurity protocols required by the authorities. .
