Given the emergency call from the authorities of the communities of the district of Nueva Requena, due to the increase in cases of the flu called Influenza, the Regional Government of Ucayali through its Regional Health Directorate (Diresa) immediately went to pay attention to them. medical with the logistical support of the company Ocho Sur.
On this occasion, doctors and nurses evaluated the health status, including Covid-19 and influenza, of children and adults in the population centers of Shambo Porvenir and the Caribbean; as well as the native community Santa Clara de Uchunya.
The residents affected by the influenza outbreak, mainly children, were provided with the necessary treatment and received their medicines free of charge. During this visit, no cases of Covid-19 were detected in the aforementioned communities.
It is important to note that the immediate response of the GORE Ucayali, to the call of the local authorities, was carried out within the framework of the agreement signed by the Diresa with the palm oil company Ocho Sur, which provided the respective logistical support for the doctors and nurses to arrive. on time and could pay due attention.
