GOREU RECOGNIZES OCHO SUR AS A WORK GENERATING COMPANY

In a ceremony held in the auditorium of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, the Regional Directorate of Labor and Employment Promotion of GORE Ucayali, recognized 6 companies and 6 workers who have stood out, as generators of jobs and job performance respectively, this “Labor Day” having been celebrated on May 1st.

Director Robert Huansi Dávila explained that “Labor Day” is an important date for workers, whether public or private, and that in that sense the regional management recognizes the dedication of that worker for his company and it, which generates better socio-labor conditions.

Among the 6 companies, Ocho Sur was recognized, dedicated to the sustainable production of oil palm products and derivatives in Ucayali, because with this company thousands of jobs are intermediated, for the exchange offered by the regional management.

In this regard, Andrea Urbina, in charge of human resources, who represented the general manager of Ocho Sur, Michael Spoor, said that the business group feels very pleased by this recognition, knowing that its good working conditions are transcending throughout the year. from the Ucayali region.

“The working conditions we offer at Ocho Sur are equal for everyone. We continue to grow and, this growth, generates more employment for the Ucayalinos residents,” said the official.

It must be emphasized that Ocho Sur is the company that is providing the most labor in the Ucayali region, with almost 2 thousand official workers, where the majority are people close to the company, in the district of Nueva Requena.

Ms. Urbina stressed that this recognition encourages the palm grower to continue relying on labor from the region, and not only grow as a company, but also worry about the social, economic and family aspects.

Also recognized were Representaciones Vargas, Farmacia Farmalino, Electro Ucayali, Manu 780, and Industrias Oleaginosas Monte Alegre (INDOLMASA); as well as the workers Segundo Reynaldo Zapata, Elí Saavedra Chávarry, Marco Jonás Chávez Solórzano, Mario José Calero Rivas, Segundo Manuel Vásquez Quintana and Pitman Rogelio Inga Atanacio.
